Posted by Chad on Oct 06, 2010In other big news, Jen and I have decided that my time in the Air Force will soon be coming to an end. I know this probably shocks some of you but the nutshell version is that the Air Force has decided it is overmanned and has made the offer to pay Officers to get out. So we said “heck yeah!” and we’re going to take the money and run! In truth we prayed about it a lot and we have no regrets because we are confident that this is the direction the Lord is leading us.
My official separation date is 20 December 2010 and we look forward to what God has in store in the coming months! We haven’t made any definite decisions yet but I have some great possible opportunities for jobs both here in Northern Virginia and in Colorado (which would be ideal for us).
